Match the account you registered
Use the username, phone number or email required by the actual login screen. A display name is not necessarily the sign-in identifier. Check spaces introduced by autofill and the selected country code before retrying. If several accounts appear in a password manager, choose the entry for the destination you have opened.
Resolve a forgotten password at the source
Follow the recovery link offered by the account service. Verification should use a contact method you registered, not an address supplied by someone in a chat. Never share a one-time code with a person claiming to speed up recovery. If the registered contact is unavailable, the provider must explain what account-ownership evidence it accepts.
When a session expires or codes arrive late
A session timeout usually calls for signing in again, not creating another account. If a code is delayed, check the contact details and wait for the resend timer before requesting a replacement. Keep a record of a persistent error, but remove personal details from screenshots sent about a website problem. We cannot issue codes or change an external account.
