Identify the event and the covered period
Start with the competition, participants and scheduled time. Markets for a full match, a half or another period are not interchangeable. Read whether overtime or penalties count where relevant. If the listing is live, make sure the event state shown belongs to the selection you intend to inspect.
Understand a pending or accepted entry
Adding a selection does not mean a transaction has been accepted. Read the final stake, displayed price and any change notification on the confirmation screen. If a request remains pending, check the account history rather than repeatedly submitting it. Save the reference number once an accepted entry appears.
Check the settlement conditions
Cancelled, postponed or interrupted events may be handled differently under each market’s published rules. Compare the settled status with those rules, not only a score shown elsewhere.
